The relationship between organizational culture and an organization’s performance in the Austrian private sector

Abstract: This study aims to investigate the connection and impact of organizational culture on a company’s performance in the private sector in Austria. After having reviewed the relevant literature, I have collected the data with the help of a Likert-Scale questionnaire whereby employees and their superiors in the Austrian private sector were questioned.
171 completed questionnaires were collected and analysed using the software SPSS 22. The results suggest that there is a connection between organizational culture and performance. This study contributes to the existing literature of organizational studies with a new study in the Austrian private sector.
