Professor Georgina Andrews

Georgina qualified as a solicitor and worked in private practice specialising in company and commercial law before joining Southampton Solent University as a Lecturer in Law. Georgina has 15 years’ experience working in Higher Education. In 2007 she became the Associate Dean Enhancement for the Faculty of Business, Sport and Enterprise and in July 2011 Georgina took over as the Director of the Southampton Business School at Southampton Solent University. Georgina became an Associate Professor in July 2012 and her title of Professor of Business Education was conferred in August 2013.

Georgina is an active researcher with a track record of publications in high quality academic journals, conference presentations and employer engagement activity. Her main research interests are equity, equality and diversity; and graduate employability. Georgina’s work has been referred to in the Northern Ireland Assembly and in court in the United States of America. Her publications have also been cited in National and International refereed journals and leading academic textbooks.
